Embedded Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Embedded Electrical Engineer to join their fully remote, innovative product development team. This role is vital for designing and developing the electronic hardware and embedded systems that power next-generation products. You will be responsible for the entire hardware lifecycle, from conceptualization and schematic design to prototyping, testing, and production support. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded electronic hardware, including schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection.
• Integrate microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, and power management circuits.
• Develop firmware and low-level drivers in C/C++ to interface with hardware components.
• Conduct hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of embedded systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and firmware.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems hardware design.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad).
• Strong experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, ESP32) and embedded C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and USB.
• Excellent debugging skills and experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
