Embedded Software Engineer - London £35,000-£80,000 + equity
I’m working with an exciting technology company developing advanced autonomous systems for a rapidly growing industry.
They’re looking for junior and mid-level Embedded Software Engineers to join a highly technical, multidisciplinary engineering team.
There are opportunities across different areas of embedded software, so the exact focus will depend on your experience and interests.
The role
- Develop software for complex embedded systems
- Work across low-level software, embedded Linux and/or real-time systems
- Develop reliable and robust software for distributed systems
- Support hardware bring-up, integration and testing
- Debug and optimise software performance
- Work closely with hardware, systems and other software engineers
- Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
Looking for:
- Strong C++ experience
- Commercial embedded software experience
- Experience with Linux and/or RTOS
- Low-level Linux experience, kernel, driver, or bootloader development desirable
- Networking or communication protocols desirable
- Any RTOS experience
