About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Employment Law Specialist to join their thriving legal team in Milton Keynes . This role is essential for advising the business on all aspects of employment law, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and best practices. You will work closely with HR and management teams, providing strategic guidance on complex employment issues, dispute resolution, and policy development. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of employment law matters, including dismissals, discrimination, and contract disputes.
• Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation.
• Represent the company in employment tribunal claims and advise on settlement negotiations.
• Conduct internal investigations into grievances and disciplinary matters, providing impartial recommendations.
• Deliver training to managers and staff on employment law compliance and best practices.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and advise on their impact on the business.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 6 years of experience specialising in employment law.
• Proven track record of advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, case law, and tribunal procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting within a hybrid model based in Milton Keynes .
