Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers on employment contracts, policies, and compliance.
• Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings and related litigation.
• Handle disputes concerning unfair dismissal, discrimination, and redundancy.
• Provide guidance on TUPE regulations and business re-organisations.
• Conduct internal investigations and advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and case law.
• Experience advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Excellent drafting and advocacy skills.
• Ability to build rapport and provide clear advice to clients in Sunderland .
