About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Lawyer to join their highly respected legal team, operating entirely remotely. This position is critical for providing expert advice to both employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters. You will play a key role in advising on compliance, dispute resolution, and strategic HR issues, ensuring clients navigate the complexities of employment legislation effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Advise employers on employment contracts, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Represent clients in employment tribunals and courts for disputes such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, and redundancy.
- Provide counsel on TUPE regulations, corporate reorganisations, and outsourcing arrangements.
- Assist employees with grievances, disciplinary matters, and settlement agreements.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on employment law topics to clients.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay abreast of changes in employment law and HR best practices.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with significant experience in employment law .
- Demonstrable track record in advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and case law.
- Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and drafting skills, adapted for virtual environments.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and work effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience with legal research tools and virtual communication platforms.
