Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers on all aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, disciplinary procedures, and grievances.
• Represent clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
• Conduct employment law training for clients and assist with developing HR policies.
• Handle sensitive investigations and provide counsel on TUPE, redundancy, and discrimination issues.
• Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and staff handbooks.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with significant experience in employment law.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Experience in advising both employers and employees is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
