Employment Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented Employment Lawyer to bolster their specialist team in Southampton . This role involves advising a diverse clientele, including employers and employees, on a wide spectrum of employment law issues, from contentious tribunal claims to strategic advisory work. You will play a key role in supporting businesses and individuals through the complexities of employment relations. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining the benefits of office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers on compliance with employment law, including drafting contracts, policies, and procedures.
• Represent clients in employment tribunal claims and other employment-related litigation.
• Provide advice on disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, and TUPE.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law updates and best practices.
• Manage relationships with clients and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' experience in employment law.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation and tribunal procedures.
• Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in managing a caseload and working collaboratively in a hybrid environment, servicing clients in Southampton .
