Energy Efficiency Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their dedicated team in Portsmouth . This role focuses on advising businesses and organisations on strategies to reduce energy consumption and minimise their carbon footprint. You will conduct comprehensive energy audits, identify areas for improvement, and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions. Working closely with clients, you will play a vital role in promoting sustainable practices and achieving significant energy savings, contributing to environmental goals from our Portsmouth office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed on-site energy audits for commercial, industrial, and public sector clients.
• Analyse energy usage data and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Develop and present tailored recommendations for energy-saving measures, including technology upgrades and operational changes.
• Advise clients on government incentives, grants, and regulatory compliance related to energy efficiency .
• Develop project plans and oversee the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and report on achieved savings and environmental benefits.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Energy Consultant or in a similar role focused on energy management and efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of building services, industrial processes, and energy-saving technologies.
• Certification in energy auditing (e.g., Level 3/4 Energy Assessor) or relevant engineering discipline is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and communicate complex technical information effectively.
