About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their growing team in Portsmouth . This role is essential for helping businesses and organisations reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint through expert advice and tailored solutions. You will conduct energy audits, develop strategic recommendations, and support clients in implementing energy-saving measures. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of energy management systems, building performance, and relevant UK regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed energy audits of commercial, industrial, and public sector buildings.
- Analyze energy usage data and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Develop comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for energy-saving measures.
- Advise clients on the implementation of energy efficiency technologies and strategies.
- Assess the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed energy-saving projects.
- Stay updated on energy efficiency best practices, regulations, and available grants.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy auditing, building performance analysis, or energy management.
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, lighting, and industrial processes.
- Familiarity with energy management standards (e.g., ISO 50001) and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
