About the Role

This hybrid role involves researching, analyzing, and advising on national and international energy policies that impact the energy sector . You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategic direction by providing expert counsel on regulatory changes, market trends, and sustainable energy initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret energy policies, regulations, and market developments at local, national, and international levels.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on energy policy matters to senior management and relevant departments.
• Develop policy papers, briefings, and position statements on key energy issues, including decarbonization and energy security.
• Engage with government bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advocate for the company's interests.
• Conduct research on emerging energy technologies and their policy implications.
• Support the company's strategy for navigating the evolving regulatory environment in the energy industry .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy policy analysis, government relations, or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of UK and EU energy policy frameworks, market structures, and regulatory processes.
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex policy issues clearly.
• Proven ability to build relationships and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
