Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer battery energy storage systems (BESS) , including component selection and system architecture.
• Develop control strategies and algorithms for optimizing the operation of BESS for grid services and renewable integration.
• Perform system modelling, simulation, and analysis to predict performance and identify potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations for energy storage systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, hardware engineers, and software developers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for deployed energy storage solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on energy systems.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design, analysis, or implementation of energy storage systems or power electronics.
• Strong understanding of battery technologies, power conversion systems, and grid integration principles.
• Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and data analysis.
