Key Responsibilities

• Execute trading strategies in the UK and European power markets to achieve profit targets.
• Monitor market developments, news, and data feeds in real-time to identify trading opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, price patterns, and supply/demand fundamentals to inform trading decisions.
• Manage trading positions and associated risks effectively.
• Collaborate with analysts and risk managers to develop and refine trading strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in trading electricity or other energy commodities.
• Deep understanding of power market structures, trading mechanisms, and risk management principles.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in trading platforms and analytical tools.
