Key Responsibilities

• Execute trades in electricity, natural gas, and other energy derivatives markets.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to achieve profitability targets.
• Monitor market news, price movements, and geopolitical events influencing energy prices.
• Analyze market data and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as an Energy Trader or in a similar trading role within the energy sector .
• Strong understanding of energy commodity markets, trading mechanisms, and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in using trading platforms and analytical software.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
