About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze energy market data (e.g., prices, supply, demand, weather) to identify trading opportunities and risks.
- Develop and maintain predictive models for commodity price forecasting.
- Monitor geopolitical events, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic trends impacting energy markets.
- Support traders by providing real-time market intelligence and analytical reports.
- Communicate complex market analyses clearly and concisely to the trading team.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of trading strategies and risk management frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in energy trading analysis, commodity markets, or financial analysis.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R).
- Excellent understanding of energy commodity markets (e.g., oil, gas, power, renewables).
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for remote collaboration.
