I'm recruiting for a Shift Lead to join a high-profile critical engineering team within a state-of-the-art commercial building in East London.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Senior Shift Engineer / Critical Shift Engineer looking to step into a leadership role on one of London's most technically advanced commercial sites.

Package:

£60,000-£65,000 Excellent overtime rates Private healthcare Continental days & nights Strong pension and wider benefits Clear progression into senior shift leadership, with higher-level roles paying close to £70,000

The role

Support and guide the engineering team Maintain critical M&E infrastructure UPS, generators, LV distribution, BMS, HVAC and cooling systems Switching, isolations and permits Contractor supervision Incident response and technical escalation PPM and reactive maintenance Support safe systems of work and site compliance

The ideal Shift Lead will come from a high-end commercial, banking, corporate HQ, data centre or other critical environment.

This is a genuine progression role for someone who wants more responsibility without moving away from hands-on engineering.
