Location: Reading, RG1 Start Date: 2 November 2026 End Date: 18th December 2026 Salary: Competitive daily rate - dependent on experience Contract: Temporary Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Empowering Learning is seeking an Engineering Teacher for an Engineering specialist school in Reading, starting on 2nd November 2026 until 18th December 2026.
This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to deliver engaging Engineering lessons and support students in developing their technical knowledge and practical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Engineering lessons. Support students in developing their engineering knowledge and practical skills. Maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback. Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management procedures.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications and experience. Experience teaching Engineering in a secondary or further education setting. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. A commitment to supporting student progress and achievement. Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
