Job Description
English Teacher Location: Leicester Salary: £179 - £253 a day Contract: Temp and Rolling Start Date: ASAP Clarence Recruitment is working with a highly regarded secondary school in Leicester to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful English department and inspire students through the study of English Language and English Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be passionate about literacy, communication, and fostering a love of reading and writing. The school offers a supportive leadership team, excellent professional development opportunities, and a strong commitment to academic achievement and student wellbeing. The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching English at secondary level
- Be confident delivering both English Language and English Literature
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be passionate about raising literacy standards and student achievement
- Have the ability to engage and inspire learners of all abilities
- Show commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for students
- Be an effective communicator and collaborative team member
