About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated Environmental Cleaning Operative to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is vital for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within various public and commercial spaces. You will be responsible for a range of cleaning duties, focusing on environmental health and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hygiene best practices and be committed to upholding high standards, with a flexible approach to work that may involve coordinating with site managers remotely for task assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of designated areas, including restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling according to environmental guidelines.
• Clean and maintain floors, surfaces, and fixtures using approved cleaning agents and equipment.
• Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks and specialized sanitation procedures as required.
• Report any deficiencies in cleaning, maintenance needs, or potential health hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements
