About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Environmental Compliance Officer to join their team, remotely supporting operations near Southampton . This role is dedicated to ensuring that all mining activities adhere to local, national, and international environmental regulations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental management systems, conducting audits, and providing guidance to operational teams. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the company's environmental stewardship and social license to operate, ensuring sustainable practices are embedded across all mining projects managed from the Hampshire region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental management plans and policies for mining operations.
• Monitor compliance with environmental permits, licenses, and regulations.

Requirements
