Environmental Services Assistant

Job Duties:

• Clear illegally dumped rubbish, animal carcasses and contaminated waste.

• Clean and disinfect contaminated properties, equipment and premises.

• Assist with drainage investigations and basic remedial work.

• Collect, load and dispose of condemned foodstuffs.

• Complete basic paperwork, timesheets and job records.

• Carry out vehicle checks and maintain equipment.

• Work outdoors and assist other officers as required.

Requirements for Role:

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.

• Basic DBS required.

• Able to follow written instructions and complete basic paperwork.

• Comfortable working in unpleasant or contaminated environments.

• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy or bulky items.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

• £13.69 per hour

• Weekly pay via agency
