About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks in all areas of the facility, including patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Conduct thorough disinfection of surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of infection and contaminants.
• Manage and dispose of various types of waste, including general, recycling, and hazardous materials, according to regulations.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and properly stored.
• Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies and spills, following established safety procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and infection control policies.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or environmental services, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfection procedures, and waste management.
• Understanding of health, safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina for performing demanding cleaning tasks and the ability to lift and move supplies.
