EPC Stock Condition Surveyor – 3–6 Month Contract Location: Cheltenham Contract: 3–6 months Rate: £30–£40 per hour IR35: Inside IR35 Mileage: 45p per mile We are currently recruiting for an experienced EPC Stock Condition Surveyor to support a housing/property programme in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with experience across stock condition surveys, EPCs and social housing/public-sector properties.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out property inspections and collecting accurate stock condition and energy performance data across a residential housing portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out stock condition surveys on residential properties
- Completing EPC assessments and gathering energy performance information
- Assessing the condition of building components and identifying defects
- Recording property condition and lifecycle information accurately
- Identifying repairs, planned maintenance and investment requirements
- Collecting data using handheld/tablet-based surveying systems
- Producing accurate survey reports and recommendations
- Working to agreed quality, productivity and health & safety standards
- Liaising with housing/property teams where required
About You
We're looking for a surveyor who has:
- Previous experience undertaking stock condition surveys
- Experience carrying out EPC assessments
- Experience within social housing, housing associations, local authorities or the wider public sector
- Strong knowledge of residential building construction and defects
- Good understanding of planned maintenance and asset management
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of property inspections
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What's on Offer?
