About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and experienced Estate Manager to oversee the management of rural properties and landholdings near Derby . This comprehensive role involves managing agricultural activities, property maintenance, staff supervision, and financial oversight to ensure the optimal performance and preservation of the estate. You will be responsible for coordinating various operations, from farming and forestry to conservation and general property upkeep. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site presence for operational management and remote work for strategic planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of agricultural and forestry operations on the estate.
• Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and improvements across all holdings.
• Supervise and manage estate staff, including groundskeepers, agricultural workers, and contractors.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient financial operations and record-keeping.
• Implement conservation strategies and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements
