Were looking for areliable, customer-focused Estates Officer / Street Warden to join a busy housing teambased in Newark .
Youll act as theeyes and ears of the council across local estates , carrying out inspections, engaging with residents and reporting issues to help keep neighbourhoods safe, clean and well managed.
Key duties:
- Estate and neighbourhood inspections
- Engage with residents and report concerns
- Identify repairs, ASB, fly-tipping and environmental issues
- Check communal areas and vacant properties
- Litter picking and minor DIY/maintenance
- Maintain records and escalate issues
- Customer-facing experience
- Reliable, dependable and comfortable working outdoors
- Good communication and community engagement skills
- Practical/DIY ability
- Full UK driving licence and confident driving a van
- £20£22 per hour (Umbrella), depending on experience
- Initial 6-month contract with potential to extend
- Company van provided
- Immediate interviews and quick start
The role isbased in Newark and involves travelling acrossestates and neighbourhoods in the local area . xwwtmva Acompany van is provided , so youll need to be confident driving and comfortable travelling between locations during the working day.
