ETE Worker (Woman)

Single Homeless Project has an opportunity for a ETE Worker (Woman) to join our experienced and committed teams based in Camden??????. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at £29,822.41 and rising incrementally to £32,034.46 per annum.

We’re London’s leading homelessness charity – and we get things done.

In a city where hundreds are forced into homelessness every day, our work has never been more needed or more challenging. And we’re not shying away. We’re rolling up our sleeves to make change and helping over 10,000 Londoners every year. We prevent homelessness, provide safe places to live and give people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures. And we never give up.

We’re here for Londoners wherever they are on their journey. We start with trust, building relationships that help people feel safe, supported, and ready to move forward. Every day, we put people first in everything we do, challenging injustice and barriers that keep people from the safety, stability and opportunity they deserve. We stand alongside people as they rebuild and shape a future that feels their own.

Joining Single Homeless Project means joining a team that’s bold, compassionate and determined to do better for the people we support and for each other. You’ll work alongside colleagues with lived experience, in a space that’s trans-inclusive, disability-friendly, and actively striving to be anti-oppressive and equitable.

We’re not perfect, but we’re real. We listen. We learn. And we push forward, together. Because this isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to lead with empathy, spark change, and help build a London where no one is left behind.

About the ETE Worker (Woman) role:

For many women who have experienced homelessness, trauma and violence, the route into education or employment is rarely straightforward. Confidence may have been eroded, opportunities disrupted and previous services may not have felt safe or accessible. This role is about helping women reconnect with their strengths, recognise what is possible and take meaningful steps towards a future of their choosing.

Working across our Women’s Respite Service and Grace House, you will provide specialist education, training and employment support to women experiencing multiple disadvantage. Through one to one coaching and practical action planning, you will help each woman explore her aspirations, overcome barriers and access opportunities in education, training, volunteering and employment at a pace that feels safe and achievable.

• *This role is open to women only. This is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the nature of the service and the needs of the women we support.

About you

You know how to turn “I don’t think I can” into a first step forward, helping people build confidence and move towards education, training, volunteering or work.

You understand how trauma, VAWG, homelessness and multiple disadvantage can shape a woman’s choices, confidence and engagement, and you respond with empathy, patience and respect.

You are a natural motivator who can uncover strengths, spark ambition and turn individual goals into practical, achievable plans.

You enjoy opening doors, whether that means building relationships with employers and training providers or creating engaging activities that help women discover new possibilities.

You are proactive, organised and collaborative, ready to work across two services and bring energy, creativity and consistency to every part of the role.

Our attractive benefits package includes:

A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period

A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services
