About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Event Catering Coordinator to join their team in Leeds . This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of all catering aspects for a variety of events, from corporate functions to private celebrations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, coordinate with the kitchen and service staff, and be present on-site during events to oversee operations and ensure client satisfaction. This hybrid role offers a blend of office-based planning and on-site event management.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise directly with clients to plan menus, budgets, and logistics for catering events in Leeds .
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food.
• Manage event staffing, including hiring temporary staff and briefing teams on event requirements.
• Oversee on-site setup, service, and breakdown of catering operations, ensuring a professional presentation.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene during all events.

Requirements
