Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of all catered events, from initial client consultation to post-event analysis.
- Develop detailed event proposals, menus, and budgets in collaboration with clients and the culinary team.
- Manage and mentor the catering team, ensuring high performance, excellent service, and adherence to company standards.
- Control food and beverage costs, manage inventory, and optimize purchasing to ensure profitability.
- Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, health, and safety across all catering operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and venue partners to ensure seamless event delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in event management and catering operations, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of menu planning, food and beverage service, and event logistics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting for events.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple complex events simultaneously in Cardiff .
