Event Catering Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event Catering Supervisor to lead their on-site teams at various venues in and around Liverpool . You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of catering services during events, ensuring exceptional client service and upholding the company's high standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent people management skills, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences through efficient and attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct catering staff during event service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines.
• Manage event setup, including food and beverage stations, ensuring presentation and cleanliness standards are met.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations during events.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and event managers to ensure timely delivery and appropriate service of food and beverages.
• Train and mentor junior catering staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented atmosphere.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or catering industry .
• Strong understanding of event operations and catering service standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced event environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
