Event Coordinator (Catering)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to manage catering aspects of events in and around Belfast . You will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their catering needs are met with precision and creativity. This role involves liaising between clients, kitchen staff, and event venues to ensure seamless execution from initial planning through to the final service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for creating memorable culinary experiences for all guests, blending on-site coordination with remote planning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise directly with clients to understand their event requirements, dietary needs, and budget constraints.
• Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of catering for events, including menu selection, staffing, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.
• Conduct site visits to venues to assess suitability and plan event layouts.
• Manage event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met for seamless execution.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise before, during, or after events.

Requirements
