Event Creative Director

Office based

Festival theming, bespoke brand activations, permanent interior builds for hospitality names, and a business now pushing into theme parks and European markets: the Event Creative Director stepping into this seat gets to set the creative standard across all of it, on tangible, physical work that gets built in a factory and installed for real audiences.

- Creative influence across festivals, activations and permanent builds

- A business actively opening theme park and European market opportunities

- Pod-based structure that puts you close to producers and designers

- Live event attendance as part of the role

- Travel scope across UK, Europe and Middle East

The Company

This is a fast-growing experiential production agency with a decade of work behind it, a reputation built on referrals, and a client base spanning festivals, drinks brands, marketing agencies and blue-chip corporates. The team spans creative producers, CAD technicians, project managers, workshop fabricators and installation coordinators, all under one roof. The business has grown rapidly in recent years and is now moving into theme park design and European markets, with the structure and ambition to match.

The Role

As Event Creative Director, you sit across the creative producers and interior design pods, providing the quality assurance and creative leadership the business needs to commercialise its output confidently as it scales into new sectors and territories.

- Quality-check design output across live event and permanent build projects

- Lead creative direction across festivals, activations and bespoke interior installations

- Work closely with creative producers and interior design pods day to day

- Ensure design concepts are commercially viable and deliverable at pace

- Shape creative standards as the business enters theme park and European markets

- Operate hands-on in a fast-paced factory and warehouse environment

The Candidate

The right Event Creative Director will have a strong track record of creative leadership and design quality oversight across events, experiential builds or interior installations, with a portfolio that demonstrates theming, sets, activations or permanent structures. Comfort with last-minute demands and fast-moving environments is essential: this is a hands-on role in a production setting, not a studio.

A background in theme park or venue design would be beneficial but is not essential, and the same applies to fabrication knowledge or international project experience. What matters most is the ability to lead creative confidently as an Event Creative Director, raise the quality of output, and thrive in an environment where pace and physical product are the daily reality.

In return, this is a business with real momentum, a varied and tangible product, and new sectors opening up that need someone to own the creative standard from the front. The role is being filled now and interviews are underway, so submit your application for this Event Creative Director position and let's talk.
