About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Marketing Coordinator to support their dynamic performing arts programming in Edinburgh . This hybrid role involves assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies for a variety of theatrical productions, concerts, and cultural events. You will play a key role in promoting ticket sales, enhancing audience engagement, and building brand awareness for our client's diverse artistic offerings. Working closely with the marketing team, you will gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced arts organization, contributing to the success of performances and ensuring they reach their intended audiences through effective promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns for performing arts events, including digital advertising, social media promotion, and email marketing.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of promotional materials such as posters, flyers, brochures, and digital assets.
- Manage social media content calendars and engage with online communities to build excitement and drive ticket sales.
- Support the execution of events, including managing guest lists, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with on-site promotions.
- Track marketing campaign performance, collect data on ticket sales, and provide regular reports on key metrics.
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and stay informed about industry trends in the performing arts sector .
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related field, preferably within the arts or non-profit sector .
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for crafting compelling marketing copy.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic digital marketing concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, both remotely and in the office.
- A genuine interest in and understanding of the performing arts .
