About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Planner to manage and coordinate a wide range of virtual and hybrid catering events from a remote setting. This role focuses on conceptualizing, planning, and executing seamless online and hybrid experiences that meet client objectives and delight attendees. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all logistical and culinary aspects are managed flawlessly, all while working from the comfort of your own home. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced planner adept at managing complex projects digitally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse portfolio of virtual and hybrid catering events from start to finish.
- Liaise effectively with clients to understand event requirements, objectives, and budgets.
- Source and manage relationships with external vendors, including caterers, AV providers, and platform specialists.
- Develop detailed event proposals, run sheets, and post-event reports.
- Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide real-time support during live virtual or hybrid events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Event Planner , with a strong portfolio of virtual or hybrid event execution.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and virtual event platforms.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, suited for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
