Events and Banqueting Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events and Banqueting Supervisor to lead their dedicated team in Belfast . This role is crucial for ensuring the flawless execution of all events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale banquets. You will be responsible for overseeing event setups, managing service staff, and ensuring that every guest experiences impeccable service and a memorable occasion. This hands-on position requires a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. You will work closely with the events team to coordinate client needs and ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the setup and execution of all events, ensuring adherence to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and client specifications.
• Manage and train banqueting staff, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, and efficiency.
• Oversee the service of food and beverages during events, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with staff and post-event debriefs with clients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces and service areas.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally during events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an events or banqueting supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of event planning, setup, and service protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of food and beverage service standards.
