About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of fundraising events, from small donor receptions to larger public events.
• Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate partners and sponsors, seeking opportunities for collaboration.
• Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure event sponsorships and partnerships.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing return on investment.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue booking, supplier management, and volunteer support.
• Support the wider marketing and communications team in promoting events and partnership opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or management, preferably within the charity sector.
• Demonstrated success in developing and nurturing business or community partnerships.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
