Events Coordinator - Charity Sector

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of fundraising events, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.
• Manage all event logistics, including venue sourcing, supplier negotiation, catering, AV, and staffing.
• Develop event marketing and promotional materials to maximise attendance and engagement.
• Liaise with internal teams, volunteers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Handle guest registration, ticketing, and on-site event management.
• Conduct post-event analysis, gathering feedback and reporting on outcomes and ROI.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination , preferably within a charity or non-profit setting.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• A genuine passion for the work of the charity sector .
• Experience with event management software and MS Office Suite.
