Events Coordinator - Sports Venues

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Coordinator to manage a variety of sports and community events at their prominent venue in Sheffield . This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless execution of events from initial planning through to post-event evaluation. You will work closely with internal teams, external clients, and stakeholders to deliver successful, memorable, and safe events that meet organizational objectives and client expectations, contributing to the venue's reputation as a premier event destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage a portfolio of sports and other events, ensuring all logistical requirements are met.
• Liaise with clients to understand their event needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
• Develop event timelines, budgets, and operational plans, managing resources effectively.
• Coordinate with venue staff, catering, security, and technical teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for event services.

Requirements
