About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Sports Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and safe management of their sports venues and facilities. This fully remote role requires exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of facility maintenance, staff management, and event support within the Leisure & Sports industry. You will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities operate at peak performance, providing an excellent experience for athletes, staff, and visitors alike. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans and procedures for sports facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all facility infrastructure and equipment.
• Oversee the scheduling and management of facility staff, including event support personnel and maintenance teams.
• Coordinate with event organizers to ensure seamless logistical support for all scheduled activities.
• Manage facility budgets, including operational costs, capital expenditures, and revenue generation strategies.
• Implement sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency measures within the facilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sports facility management or operations, with a strong understanding of venue operations.
• Proven experience in staff supervision, budget management, and vendor relations.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations pertinent to sports facilities.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
