Events Fundraiser

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Events Fundraiser to develop and manage a portfolio of fundraising events in and around Oxford . This role is central to generating income and raising the profile of our client's cause through engaging and impactful events, from community-based activities to larger-scale functions. You will be responsible for the full event lifecycle, including planning, promotion, execution, and post-event evaluation, working closely with volunteers and stakeholders to maximise success. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and deliver a diverse range of fundraising events, ensuring they meet financial and strategic objectives.
• Develop event concepts and budgets, seeking cost-effective solutions and maximising revenue.
• Manage event logistics, including venue booking, supplier coordination, and attendee management.
• Recruit, train, and support event volunteers to ensure smooth event operations.
• Promote events effectively to drive attendance and maximise fundraising potential.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably within the charity sector or events industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and meet fundraising targets.
• Excellent organisational, logistical, and project management skills.
