About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of fundraising events, including challenge events, galas, and community fairs.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring maximum return on investment and cost-effectiveness.
• Secure sponsorship and in-kind support from corporate and local businesses.
• Develop engaging marketing and promotional materials for events.
• Manage event logistics, including venue booking, supplier negotiation, and volunteer coordination.
• Effectively communicate with event attendees, donors, sponsors, and internal stakeholders before, during, and after events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management and fundraising, preferably within the charity sector.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, both remotely and in the office.
