Events Manager - Charity Sector

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events in Cardiff . You will be responsible for conceptualizing innovative event ideas, managing budgets, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth delivery of everything from small community gatherings to large-scale gala dinners. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a diverse calendar of fundraising events across various scales and formats.
• Oversee all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and staffing.
• Create and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies for events to maximize attendance and engagement.
• Liaise with suppliers, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
• Provide on-site management during events, troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector.
