About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and organized Events Manager to orchestrate high-profile sports and entertainment events for their prestigious venue in Edinburgh . This role demands a meticulous planner with a flair for delivering unforgettable experiences, from initial concept and budgeting to on-site execution and post-event analysis. You will be responsible for managing all logistical aspects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring seamless event delivery that enhances the venue's reputation and attracts a wide audience, playing a crucial part in the city's vibrant cultural scene.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute a diverse portfolio of sports and entertainment events from conception to completion.
• Develop detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Source and manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and agencies.
• Oversee all logistical aspects, including venue setup, staffing, security, catering, and technical requirements.
• Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to promote events and manage attendee experience.

Requirements

• Proven track record in event management, preferably within sports or entertainment sectors.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent budget management and financial planning capabilities.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
