About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead the culinary direction of their flagship establishment in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development and food preparation to team management and cost control, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative, high-quality menus across all dining outlets, reflecting seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Manage the entire kitchen operation, including staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure consistent high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene across the kitchen.
- Control food costs, manage inventory, and maintain efficient purchasing and waste reduction strategies.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to enhance the overall dining experience for guests in Edinburgh .
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, fine-dining establishment.
- Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating memorable dishes.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in kitchen budget management, inventory control, and cost analysis.
