Key Responsibilities

• Navigate efficiently to diverse delivery locations across the Newcastle upon Tyne area and surrounding regions.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring they are transported safely and arrive in excellent condition.
• Provide outstanding customer service upon delivery, confirming receipt and addressing any client inquiries professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation and any required reporting.
• Conduct daily checks on the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and all relevant road safety regulations.

Requirements

• A clean and valid UK driving license, appropriate for the vehicle class operated.
• Demonstrable experience working as a courier or delivery professional.
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and delivery management software.
• Strong understanding of the geography and road networks within Newcastle upon Tyne .
• Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously to meet delivery schedules.
