TimePlan Education is currently working with a welcoming school in Havering that is looking for a confident, reliable and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA who can quickly settle into a classroom, build strong relationships with pupils and provide effective support from day one.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher with day-to-day teaching and learning Provide one-to-one and small-group support Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy and wider learning Support children with SEND and additional learning needs Assist with classroom activities, preparation and organisation Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils Help create a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment

We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school Be confident supporting pupils across the primary age range Have a strong understanding of classroom support and pupil development Be comfortable supporting children with a range of abilities and needs Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be proactive, reliable and adaptable Build positive relationships with pupils and staff Be available to start ASAPExperience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs would be highly advantageous.
