Exploration Geologist - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Exploration Geologist to join their fully remote global exploration team. This role is critical for identifying and evaluating new mineral deposit opportunities worldwide. You will analyze geological data, design exploration programs, and provide expert geological interpretation to guide discovery efforts, all without the need for a physical office presence. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to identify and prioritize prospective exploration targets globally.
• Design and manage cost-effective exploration programs, including surface mapping, sampling, and drilling campaigns.
• Interpret exploration data and generate geological models to support resource definition and project progression.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and potential investors.
• Collaborate closely with remote colleagues across various disciplines, including geophysics, geochemistry, and resource modeling.
• Stay abreast of new exploration technologies and methodologies, recommending their adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Geology, Economic Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral exploration geology , with a proven track record of discoveries.
• Extensive experience with geological mapping, data analysis, and project management.
• Proficiency in geological modeling software and GIS applications.
• Strong understanding of different mineral deposit styles and exploration techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
