EYFS Teacher – Long-Term Maternity Cover Islington, North London | January 2027 start Salary dependent on experience

All Together Education Recruitment is seeking an EYFS Teacher for a primary school in Islington, North London, starting in January 2027.

This is a long-term maternity cover opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and helping children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The role

Plan and deliver engaging learning across the EYFS curriculum.

*

Create a stimulating environment with purposeful indoor and outdoor activities.

*

Support early language, phonics, literacy and numeracy development.

*

Use observations and assessment to identify children’s next steps.

*

Adapt provision to meet individual needs, including SEND and EAL.

*

Work closely with support staff and build positive relationships with families.

The ideal candidate

*

A recognised teaching qualification and QTS.

*

Experience teaching in EYFS and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.

*

A warm, consistent approach to behaviour and classroom routines.

*

Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.

*

Availability from January 2027 for a long-term commitment.
