Fabric Engineer

Mobile Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Wokingham - £21 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Wokingham. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer. The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties, a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a healthcare environment. Working within a team on-site, he or she will need to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance.

Working hours

Monday - Friday 08:00 am - 17:00pm On-going contract £21 per hour Enhanced DBS needed Immediate start Key Duties & Responsibilities

Painting & Decorating General fabric repairs Furniture moves porterage Fixing Furniture Hanging Pictures & Shelves Maintain and update Log books Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing Escort sub-contractors To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc. Covering 3 sites around Wokingham

Requirements

Knowledge of commercial building maintenance An understanding of most building fabric duties Good communication skills Health & Safety experience Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use) Ability to deliver excellent customer service Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workloadPlease send your CV to Jordyn at (url removed) for more information
