Facade Manager

Facades Manager – Cardiff Duration: 6 months contract Start: Immediate Sector: Main Contractor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Facades Manager to join a major main contractor on a 6-month project in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a similar Facades Manager / Facades Site Manager role on construction projects and will be confident managing subcontractors, programme, quality and site activities.

The Role

Manage all facade works on site from start through to completion

*

Coordinate facade subcontractors and site teams

*

Monitor progress against programme and ensure key deadlines are met

*

Ensure works are completed to the required quality and specification

*

Coordinate with the wider site management team and other trades

*

Maintain high standards of health & safety

*

Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates

*

Identify and resolve any issues affecting programme or quality

Requirements

*

Previous experience in a similar Facades Manager role is essential

*

Strong knowledge of facade construction and installation

*

Experience working for or alongside a main contractor

*

Strong subcontractor and site management skills

*

Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements

*

Ability to start immediately

*

Relevant construction qualifications/CSCS required
