About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Facilities Cleaning Coordinator to manage and oversee cleaning operations for their facilities in Norwich . This role is key to ensuring that all buildings are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for coordinating cleaning staff, managing schedules, ensuring adequate supply of cleaning materials, and conducting quality checks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong understanding of cleaning best practices, and the ability to motivate a team. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily cleaning activities and staff schedules for multiple facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning work to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Train new cleaning staff on procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
• Liaise with building management and tenants to address cleaning-related issues and requests promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management, cleaning supervision, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for managing staff and interacting with stakeholders.
