Facilities Cleaning Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Facilities Cleaning Manager to oversee all cleaning services for their commercial facilities in Bradford . This key role involves managing a cleaning team, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining exceptional levels of cleanliness across the premises. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising cleaning activities, managing budgets, and liaising with external contractors and internal departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management or contract cleaning supervision, with excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cleaning strategies and schedules to meet facility needs.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of cleaning staff, conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the procurement and management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Liaise with building management and other departments to coordinate cleaning activities.
• Handle complaints and resolve issues related to cleaning services promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and inventory.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within cleaning or facilities management.
• Strong understanding of cleaning operations, techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to cleaning services.
